I'm a proud father to Grant and Stella, lucky enough to call Melissa my wife. I spent five years in the Army and quickly realized it was pretty different from what the recruiter had promised, although the traveling bit was a definite plus. If there's one thing I'm good at, it's smoking meat that tastes just okay. On the downside, I try to include an Excel spreadsheet in everything I do, which can sometimes be a bit over the top.

Over the past ten years, I have gained extensive experience working for both Northwestern Mutual and a FinTech startup.
